About Bree
Bree came to art therapy through her own experience of artmaking as a grounding space during the uncertainty of Melbourne’s lockdowns. In that time, the act of making (without pressure for outcome) became a place to land, to notice, and to make meaning. This lived experience continues to shape her values.
Bree values creating a space where people feel genuinely welcomed, respected and safe to explore at their own pace. She believes that meaning-making and growth happen through curiosity, authentic connection and a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
She has completed 750 hours of student placement working with children at Building Better Brains in Croydon, and is currently practicing at Yellow Gum Studios in Mill Park. Bree works with a range of ages, bringing a flexible and responsive approach to each individual, shaped by their unique ways of experiencing and expressing the world.
Her work is not about fixing or prescribing - understanding you to be the expert in your own life. Here we make space for expression, for reflection, and for new ways of seeing.
